Connect Claude

Connector Central uses Claude's remote MCP connector flow. Individual accounts can connect it from Customize > Connectors. Team and Enterprise organizations can require an owner to make the connector available before members connect.

Connect from the directory

  1. Open Customize > Connectors in Claude.
  2. Find Connector Central in the directory and select Connect.
  3. In the Connector Central window, sign in and choose the workspace Claude should use.
  4. Review the canonical MCP resource and profile:read scope, then select Allow.
  5. In a conversation, open the plus menu, choose Connectors, and enable Connector Central.

For an organization, an owner may first need to add Connector Central under Organization settings > Connectors. Anthropic's remote MCP connector guide documents the current individual and organization controls.

Manual custom connection

If your organization uses Claude's custom-connector flow instead of the directory listing, enter this remote MCP URL:

https://connectorcentral.com/mcp

Do not enter a workspace identifier, token, OAuth client ID, or client secret. Claude and Connector Central complete discovery and registration automatically.

Verify the workspace

Ask:

Which Connector Central workspace am I using?

The response should identify the workspace selected during consent. Claude can use only the tools returned for that person by the current authenticated tools/list response.

Change workspaces

Disconnect Connector Central, connect it again, and select the other workspace during consent.

Revoke access

Disconnect or remove Connector Central under Customize > Connectors, then revoke its authorization in Connector Central. Organization owners can separately remove directory availability for the organization.

Troubleshooting

  • Connector Central is not listed: ask the organization owner whether it is available for members.
  • The custom URL will not connect: confirm it is exactly https://connectorcentral.com/mcp and remove any query parameters.
  • The wrong workspace appears: disconnect and repeat consent.
  • An expected tool is missing: review the person's current Connector Central workspace access.
  • A revoked connection still appears: remove Claude's local connection as well as revoking it in Connector Central.
